Malang, 21 February 2024 — On February 19, 2024, a total of 25 students from Universiti Putra Malaysia conducted a campus tour at Universitas Negeri Malang. On the first day of the Universiti Putra Malaysia campus visit, Universitas Negeri Malang prepared an agenda to get to know the campus they were visiting more deeply.

Because visiting universities abroad is an exciting and enriching experience. It’s not just about learning in the classroom, but also about exploring new cultures, expanding perspectives, and building valuable cross-cultural relationships. To maximize this experience, campus tours become one of the key aspects that cannot be overlooked.

UPM students walk to GKB UM (19/02/2024)

The route to be taken first will certainly depart from the Faculty of Economics and Business, then proceed to walk to the outdoor learning space passing the UM mosque and also the Faculty of Engineering. After that, from the Outdoor Learning Space, UPM students are directed to see the Common Lecture Building (GKB). Inside the GKB, they visit the rooftop of the building and also the language room. After leaving the GKB, the journey continues to the first floor of the rectorate. The next route is the Universitas Negeri Malang Learning Museum, where they see the history of the Universitas Negeri Malang, and the last route ends at the Universitas Negeri Malang Library.

Although not all places at Universitas Negeri Malang can be visited due to time constraints, the excitement created is no less interesting. The enthusiasm of the Universiti Putra Malaysia students is also undeniable, they are busy taking photos and actively asking questions about the places they visit.

On the same day, in the evening, students from Universitas Negeri Malang and Universiti Putra Malaysia held a sharing session. They played games together and also got to know each other.

This activity aims to foster camaraderie and a sense of family among students from Universitas Negeri Malang and Universiti Putra Malaysia. The event took place in the courtyard of Graha Cakrawala. The event was engaging, and all students were enthusiastic about it because it was fun and not boring.
