UPM Students Arrive at Juanda Airport, Surabaya (18/02/2024)

Malang, 20th February 2024 – The Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) visit Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) marks an exciting event in the realm of inbound mobility. The Faculty of Economics and Business takes immense pleasure in extending a warm welcome to 25 talented students of Universiti Putra Malaysia at Juanda Surabaya Airport on October 18th, 2023. The Faculty of Economics and Business UM is very excited to welcome the arrival of 25 talented students from Universiti Putra Malaysia at Juanda Surabaya Airport on Sunday, October 18, 2023. This inbound mobility activity will take place in Malang for 5 days. Participants will be invited to learn more about Indonesia’s culture in eastern Java. UM believes that the exchange of knowledge and experiences between the two universities will provide significant benefits for student’s academic and personal development and strengthen the relationship between Indonesia and Malaysia in the context of higher education.

Opening Ceremony Inbound Mobility Student UM and UPM (19/02/2024)

On Monday, February 19th, 2024, The Faculty of Economics and Business is proud to conduct the Inbound Mobility Participants Welcoming event with Universiti Putra Malaysia. This opening marks the start of an exchange program to foster cultural understanding and academic collaboration between the Universitas Negeri Malang.

Hadi Sumarsono, S.T., M.Si as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Malang, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of international collaboration in higher education and a warm welcome given to the 25 UPM mobility participants. Then, Prof. Arif Nur Afandi, S.T., M.T., MIAEng., Ph.D., as the Fourth Deputy Chancellor of the State University of Malang, responded positively to this internal mobility event by giving a direct welcome. Dr. Anusuiya Subramaniam, the representative of Universiti Putra Malaysia, also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome received by the UPM delegation and expressed enthusiasm to participate in this exchange program, which is expected to open the door for further collaboration between the two universities. Dr. Evi Eliyanah, director of the Office of International Affairs, Universitas Negeri Malang, also hopes this event will positively influence each individual and the university.
