In order to implement the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program, the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Malang, implemented a Teaching Assistance program in various middle schools in East Java. This Teaching Assistance activity aims to provide opportunities for students who have an interest in the field of education to participate in teaching and deepening their knowledge with
by becoming a teacher's assistant at school. In addition, it also helps improve equitable distribution of education quality and the relevance of primary and secondary education with higher education according to the development of science and technology. The scope of Teaching Assistance activities in schools includes the following areas: academic, technology adaptation, school administration, non-academic and other activities relevant to course conversion. Teaching Assistance activities involve: students, student teachers, supervisors and schools where Teaching Assistance is provided.
On February 6, 2023, in the laboratory room of SMAN 1 PAPAR, Kediri Regency, East Java, the handover of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Malang (FEB UM) for the Teaching Assistance program to the high school.
This event was attended by the Deputy Dean for Research, Community Service and Cooperation of FEB UM, Prof. Dr. Imam Mukhlis, SE, M.Si as the field supervisor, Mrs. Tri Ernawati S.Pd, M.Pd as Principal of SMAN 1 PAPAR, Mrs. Iis Dijah Indriyani, S.Pd as Waka Curriculum, representatives of SMAN 1 PAPAR teachers and FEB UM students (6 people).
On this occasion Prof. Dr. Imam Mukhlis, SE, M.Si conveyed to students to be able to carry out this Teaching Assistance activity program seriously and professionally, in addition to maintaining the good name of the agency, also to benefit the intended high school. Students are expected to deepen and apply the knowledge they have learned during college to be applied in the real learning process in the classroom and carry out other activities in school development.
The high school in a speech made by the Principal of SMAN 1 PAPAR Tri Ernawati S.Pd, M.Pd and Wakakulikulum Iis Dijah Indriyani, S.Pd welcomed very well this teaching assistance activity and hoped that in the future the program could continue and become even better. Gratitude is addressed to the State University of Malang for giving trust to SMAN 1 PAPAR as a place for Teaching Assistance activities. Hopefully the activity can run smoothly and provide added value in school development so that it becomes more outstanding.
The handover of Teaching Assistance students of FEB UM students was also carried out at SMKN I Turen, Malang Regency with Supervising Lecturer Rachmad Hidayat, SPd, MPd.
