Within the framework of internationalization and downstreaming of the research results of lecturers / students to the wider community, the Master and Doctoral Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), State University of Malang on 8 - 11 August 2023 carried out activities benchmaking and community service to Universiti Malaya and Sanggar Sungai Mulia Entrepreneurial Community, Kuala Lumpur. The activity was attended by 6 lecturers (Prof. Dr. Budi Eko Soetjipto, M.Ed., M.Si; Prof. Dr. Etty Soesilowati, M.Si; Prof. Dr. Nasikh, S.E., M.P., M.Pd; Dr. Makaryanawati, S.E., M.Si, Ak., CA, CSRS; Dr. H. Ludi Wishnu Wardana, M.M.) and 22 students of Master Program in Economics, Accounting, Management, Economics Education, Business Management Education and Doctoral Program in Management and Economics Education.

Activities benchmaking aims learn program best practices Masters and Doctorate at the University of Malaya . This is required to gain new insights in program management, preparation curriculum and teaching methods. The bencmaking activity resulted in various cooperation agreements in the fields of collaborative research, joint publications, and student and lecturer exchanges. While the service activity with the theme "Growing Entrepreneurial Spirit to Implement Financial Freedom for Migrant Families" aims provide direct benefits to the community Indonesia in Kualalumpur to improve people's quality of life through financial independence for women, and entrepreneurship skills for their children. The activity was attended by Indonesian migrant workers and their families in Malaysia in coffee making and blending skills and Banyuwangi dance training. The activity received enthusiasm from migrant workers followed by discussions and sharing of knowledge and skills. The speakers of the activity were the Coordinators of the FEB UM Postgraduate Study Program and Postgraduate students.
By combining community service and benchmaking activities, the Masters and Doctoral Study Programs at FEB UM can develop programs that are relevant to the needs of the community, as well as ensure that the study program continues to develop and is in accordance with the latest developments in the fields of economics and business,
