State University of Malang held a Flag Ceremony to commemorate the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia (HUT) RI. The theme of the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia is "Keep Moving Forward for Advanced Indonesia". Located at the CAKRAWALA Stadium, State University of Malang, the ceremony started at 07.15 WIB until 09.15 WIB. The ceremony was chaired by the Chancellor of State University of Malang, Prof.Dr.Hariyono, MPd. Present in the ceremony were all academicians; university leaders, faculty leaders, education staff, student functionaries and especially new students of State University of Malang in 2023.
Raising the Red and White Flag
The academic community of the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Malang (FEB-UM) participated in the August 17, 2023 ceremony. By wearing Indonesian traditional clothes, this ceremony has the nuances of Indonesian nationality within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). With the spirit of independence, the Indonesian people are optimistic that they can achieve the goal of prosperity for all Indonesian people. Higher education plays an important role in producing quality human resources who are able to produce innovations so that they have competitiveness at the global level for the progress of Indonesia.
